"Dedication to Rachel Miller
Welcome to Rachel Susan Miller's Memorial Page.I read her story and it made me cry and It touched my Heart like no other. I did this page in her Honor to make people Aware of this Horrible and Tragic Loss of a Beautiful Life due to
Domestic Violence. You don't have to know someone who is or has gone through this to care,But remember this could be your SISTER,MOTHER or FRIEND.So Open up your heart and Help the fight so we can end Domestic Violence." Dedication by Sassymom

General information about abuse
We can all be Samaritans. In different ways. We can all be Samaritans by looking out for the people around us and encouraging them to talk if they need to. We can all be Samaritans by asking the right questions. To find out how to talk and listen to someone effectively, visit our we can all be samaritans webguide. We can all be Samaritans in other ways too, by becoming a Samaritans volunteer or by making a donation to support the work of Samaritans. An United Kingdom organization called the Samaritans

The Southern Women Cause Program was developed to show our support for causes that are important to us.

"The purpose of this Campaign is to promote self esteem and self worth, as well as for you to show the world that YOU are YOU!!! I got the inspiration for this Campaign from a banner that is hanging in my bedroom....in big bold letters you can read the words "I AM WHO I AM". This banner has helped me through a lot of tough times."

Call On A Friend

We must borrow a page from Heaven,
And become Angels while we search,
For answers we're unsure of,
When we struggle here on earth.

Each day we need the love of a friend,
Who will listen when our heart feels sorrow,
We must share with one another,
Not just today, but for tomorrow.

We seek answers to our questions,
When we're discouraged and feeling down,
As to why God's children are murdered,
And left to decay upon the ground.

A man rapes once, a man rapes twice,
His mind is evil beyond repair,
But our justice system has failed to protect,
And they lurk freely everywhere.

No one is safe from a demon who walks,
There's no respect for life young or old,
It is murder and rape or abduct you,
As countless news stories are being told.

For innocent families who are paying a price,
Whose wife, daughter, or son,
Has met up with the hand of a killer,
Caused by what the justice system has done.

So on the days your heart lays heavy,
And there's nothing you can lend,
Be sure to talk with someone,
That someone who is your friend.

I know there are so many tears and fears of
people...maybe someday there will be a place
for all of us..just to be..
There are 2 sides to Domestic Violence and missing / abused children. The horrid side which is depressing but there is another side. When someone comes through the other side in good shape. That needs to be told, too. Our motto is hope

.
Forgiveness is like the summer rain.
It washes away the hatred,
and bitterness in our hearts.

And when the sun comes out again,
Everything feels fresh and clean.
It's like a new beginning, a chance to start anew.

Don't spend your life in bondage,
holding on to past hurts.
Let go and live!

Relax and watch the rain!
Then send the message of forgiveness around the world, because we could
sure use a little less hatred and a lot more love.
