"Hello,

Welcome to the Feminist Journal! I hope in this issue to address some of the fundamental issues that lead to assault and attacks on women and children.

I think that the people who are willing to resort to deadly force to subjugate people they perceive as weaker themselves are one of the biggest problems facing women in their pursuit of fundamental equal rights.

As long as such people run loose in our society they hurt not just their victims, but create a "climate of fear" which impedes women from practicing the rights that are legally theirs in most of the world."
